155 beneficiaries of 4Ps program celebrate successful graduation in Brooke’s Point, Palawan

The graduation ceremony for 155 beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) was successfully held at Octagon Plaza in Barangay District 1, Brooke’s Point, Palawan on July 13. Among the graduates, 45 beneficiaries came from Sofronio Española, while 110 hailed from the town of Brooke’s Point.
The Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, a government initiative aimed at poverty reduction, has played a vital role in uplifting the lives of these individuals and their families.
Brooke’s Point Mayor Cesareo R. Benedicto, and Steve Manzul, the representative of Mayor Abner Rafael N. Tesorio of Sofronio Española, delivered messages of continued support and the provision of aftercare services to the beneficiaries who are exiting the program, aiming to prevent them from falling back into poverty.
The faces of the graduates reflected newfound hope and triumph. According to testimonials from some beneficiaries, the 4Ps program has been a tremendous help in improving their lives. They expressed gratitude for the program, citing that it has truly elevated their standard of living. Some shared that they were able to send their children to college and that a few have already become professionals, thanks to the assistance provided by 4Ps.
Attending the event were OIC Regional Program Coordinator Reji A. Pancho, Regional Case Management Focal Person Gerald Antonio, along with Social Welfare Officer Julie Ann Riva and Compliance Verification System Focal Eddie Cañete. Their presence showcased the commitment of the program to ensure the welfare and success of its beneficiaries.
As these 155 beneficiaries move forward, they carry with them the lessons learned, the accomplishments achieved, and the hope that their success will inspire others to reach for their dreams.
