The entire Philippine National Police (PNP) is mourning the loss of Police Staff Sergeant Dennis Cudiamat and Police Staff Sergeant Gian George Dela Cruz, both members of the Bocaue Municipal Police Station, who sacrificed their lives during an operation against illegal firearms in Bocaue, Bulacan, on March 8, 2025.

According to the PNP, their heroism and dedication to duty serve as exemplary models of true service to the nation. Their families, colleagues, the entire PNP, and the citizens they faithfully served are deeply grieving their passing.

The PNP assured that a thorough investigation is ongoing and that an extensive hot pursuit operation is being conducted to ensure the immediate arrest of the remaining suspects. They also vowed that they would not stop until those responsible for the crime are held accountable.

At the same time, the PNP extends its deepest condolences and support to the bereaved families of the fallen officers. They also assured that the families would receive the necessary assistance during this time of grief.

The PNP urges the public to cooperate and provide any information that may help in the swift resolution of the case. They emphasized their continued fight for peace, security, and justice for all.

As a tribute to PSSg Cudiamat and PSSg Dela Cruz, the PNP calls on all fellow officers to continue their courageous service to the nation, despite the dangers that come with their duty.
