In a heartwarming act of kindness, Ervin Limco, a tour guide in El Nido, Palawan went above and beyond his call of duty by returning a lost wallet containing more or less P50,000 to its rightful owner, a foreign tourist visiting the town.

The incident occurred during an island tour in El Nido’s 7 Commando Beach, yesterday, April 26, when one of the foreign guests lost his wallet containing a considerable amount of cash, ATMs, a license, and some identification cards.

The tour guide sprang into action, and after a few minutes the wallet was found lying on the ground.

The tour guide, recognizing his responsibility to ensure the safety and satisfaction of his guests, took it upon himself to return the wallet to the owner.

The act of kindness did not go unnoticed, with many tourists and locals alike commending the tour guide for his selflessness and honesty. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of honesty and integrity, especially in the tourism industry.

The tour guide, humbled by the attention and praise, brushed it off as just doing his job, stating that he was simply doing what any responsible tour guide would do.

However, the foreign tourist and the rest of the group left with a newfound appreciation for the kindness and hospitality of the local people.

In a world where negative news often dominates the headlines, this heartwarming incident reminds us that small acts of kindness can go a long way in making a positive impact on someone’s travels.
