AirAsia Philippines CEO Ricky Isla said, “We are encouraging everyone to explore the beautiful islands of the Philippines. All our efforts during the first quarter of the year have been in favor of the country, showcasing it as the fun and safe destination that it is.

“Recent challenges have given us the opportunity to pursue new strategies in promoting all of AirAsia’s
14 domestic destinations. In doing so, we continue to work with the government and our partners to stimulate the growth of the tourism industry, as well as the country’s economy.”

AirAsia recently launched two new domestic destinations in the south of the Philippines namely General Santos and Zamboanga. A new route was also launched from Clark to Tagbilaran.

Flight frequencies were increased between Manila and Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Caticlan, Puerto Princesa,
Tagbilaran, and Tacloban. Guests could also fly more from Clark to Davao, Puerto Princesa, Caticlan,

To further promote domestic destinations, AirAsia’s BIG Sale is back with six million promotional seats to
