3 mangingisda, pinagmulta dahil sa paggamit ng kompresor

Hinuli at pinagmulta ng mga kinauukulan ang mga mangingisdang lumabag sa Municipal Ordinance No. 139, Series of 2009 ng Bayan ng Araceli dahil sa paggamit ng kompresor.

Ang mga nahuling violator ay sina Rennie Reviral Dela Torre, 24, boat captain, Kennedy Recatcho Reviral, 29, at Camilo Sacamay dela Torre, 24. Pawang mga binata at residente ng Sitio Pantalan, Brgy. Magsaysay, Dumaran, Palawan ang tatlo.

Sa spot report ng Palawan PPO, nakasaad na dakong 9:30 am noong Nobyembre 10, 2020 ay isagawa ang isang joint seaborne patrol operation ng mga tauhan ng Araceli Municipal Police Station (MPS) at Araceli Bantay Dagat. Sa puntong iyon ay nahuli ng team ang isang kulay bughaw na bangkang de-motor na walang pangalan at may dalawang makinang Kingston 12 HP, habang ang mga mangingisdang sakay nito ay naaktuhan na gumagamit ng kompresor sa kanilang pangingsida bilang breathing apparatus sa bisinidad ng karagatang
sakop ng Brgy. Dalayawan, Araceli, Palawan.

Nakumpiska mula sa kanilang pag-iingat ang isang compressor engine, isang tangke ng compressor, tatlong rolyo ng hose, anim na pirasong plastic flippers, dalawang diving mask, dalawang flashlight, tatlong pana, isang fish finder (garmin), at humigi’t kumulang 15 kilo ng iba’t ibang uri ng isda.

Noong Nobyembre 11 naman ay nakabayad na ng multa ang mga nasabing indibidwal para sa nilabag nilang ordinansa ng munisipyo ng Araceli.
