A joint forces of the Join Task Group North/Marine Battalion Landing Team-3 yesterday, September 22, 2021, conducted a Focused Military operation (FMO) at So. Iraan, Brgy. Magara, Roxas, Palawan and recovered multiple high powered firearms and war material.
2 M16A1 Rifle with serial numbers, 1 Barrel part of an Upper Receiver of M16A1, 1 improvised/assembled AK47, 1 thermal blanket, 1 portable power generator, 3 long M16 magazines, 1 short M16 magazine, 1 Carbine magazine, and 88 rounds of 5.56mm live ammunitions owned by a Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) were recovered.
The said operation was made possible through the cooperation of locals in Brgy. Magara, Roxas.
Meanwhile, authorities are urging members of the CTG to surrender and take the opportunity of the offered government programs.
