“So we’re thinking about how do we work with the government both on mitigating climate change and reducing emissions but also on adapting to the unavoidable consequences on climate change and this is what we were doing here in Puerto Princesa,” pahayag pa nito.

“Speaking also today with a civil society organization that are very focused on biodiversity and biodiversity conservation. And that is really at the heart of, I think the vision of the province has for eco-tourism and investing in the environment for the benefit of local communities and we want to be a part of that and that was also the key objective of this visit,” pahayag ni Ambassador.

“I think you are lucky you’ve got a very strong environmental law. You got strong laws against illegal logging, and you’ve got a strong law to protect illegal fishing. Ensuring that those are enforced, ensuring that people are monitoring–is really, really important for the environment,” dagdag pa ni Beaufils.

“Sometimes we feel, we don’t have any willpower over this but I don’t think that’s entirely true. I think there is a lot we can do as individuals to change the way that we affect the climate, we should try to find goods and appliances. They are energy efficient so that when they are used they use less energy to produce whatever they can. There’s a lot of option, We have an individual responsibility,” dagdag ni British Ambassador.
