The Department of Agriculture – Palawan Research and Experiment Station (DA-PRES) announces that another 5,000 pieces of seedlings for backyard and container gardens will be distributed to urban barangays of the City of Puerto Princesa next week.
In a shared post of Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office-Mimaropa today, May 4 from a post of Mila Cacal of DA-PRES also dated today, the regional office said that around 300 recipients will be given seedlings for their “Gulayan sa Bakuran.”
“In support of ‘Plant, Plant, Plant Program’ of the Department of Agriculture, DA-PRES will distribute again around 5,000 pieces of vegetable seedlings by May 13 and 15 for backyard and container gardens to urban residents of Puerto Princesa City,” Miss Cacal said on her post.
She advised the concerned residents to secure a number stub starting today at PRES Office, located at Bgy. Sta. Monica. The stub, she said, will be presented during the distribution and will be given priority.
