20 kabahayan, nasunog sa Barangay Masipag, Puerto Princesa

Hindi kukulangin sa dalawampung kabahayan ang nasunog kaninang madaling araw sa Barangay Masipag dito sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa.

Ayon ka Punong Barangay Vergilio Rabang, nagsimula ang sunog mga bago mag alas-tres ng madaling araw.

Mabilis ang pagkalat ng apoy at paglaki ng sunog dahil karamihan sa mga nasunog na mga kabahayan kung hindi man purong light materials ay mga semi-concrete na istraktura. Rumesponde ang mga tauhan at truck ng Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Puerto Princesa .

Ang tanker truck at mga tauhan ng City Water District ay rumesponde at tumulong din sa pag-apula ng apoy.

Tumagal ng mahigit isang oras ang sunog matapos na maideklarang fire under control bandang 4:20 a.m. Sa ngayon nagpapatuloy pa ang imbestigasyon ng BFP upang alamin ang pinagmulan at dahilan ng sunog.

Agad naman tumungo sa barangay ang City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) para malaman ang bilang ng mga pamilyang nawalan ng tirahan para sa maaaring tulong na maibigay ng City Government.

Nagpulong na rin kaninang umaga ang barangay council para sa inaasahang pagbibigay ng tulong sa mga residente sa pamamagitan ng kanilang Quick Response Fund.
