Bag na inakalang may bomba, pinasabog

Nagdulot ng abala sa mga motorista at mga pasahero sa south national highway kagabi ang naiwan na isang bag sa tapat ng Puerto Princesa City Jail dahil sa inakala na naglalaman ito ng bomba.

Sa report ng Puerto Princesa City Police Office sa pamamagitan ng tagapagsalita nito na si PSINSP Pearl Manyll Marzo, mag aalas singko kahapon ng i-report na may nakitang kahina-hinalang bag na naiwan o iniwan sa tapat ng city jail.

Dahil dito, agad na rumesponde sa lugar ang explosive ordnance disposal o EOD team at k9 team ng City PNP, Palawan Provincial Police Office at 3rd Marine Brigade ng Philippine Marines. Nang lapitan ng k9 o mga bomb-sniffing dogs ng City PNP at Palawan PPO ang kahina-hinalang bag ay nagpapakita umano ito na mayroong lamang bomba ang bag. dahil dito, nagsagawa ng mabilis at ligtas na procedure ang mga otoridad upang maiwasang makapaminsala kung sakaling naglalaman ng bomba ang bag.

Ginawa ng EOD team ang counter charge measure o disrupt in place o dip procedure mga alas-6:50 ng gabi.

Matapos na mapasabog ang bag, walang nakitang explosive materials o bomba sa loob nito.

Tumambad sa mga otoridad at sa mga taon nakasaksi ng ginawang dip procedure ang assorted kitchen utensils, bulbs, body wash soap, towel at comforter.
