Batang Puerto Princesa founder Majal Bautista is calling for justice for Palaweño Rock Icon Hector “Hec” Encarnacion who was murdered in his house.
Encarnacion was found lying on the ground and lifeless Sunday morning inside his residence in Villa Elena, Barangay Sta. Monica.
According to a reliable source from the city police, investigators initially presumed that heart attack was the cause of death only to find out yesterday that there was a foul play.
“Unang inakala na heart attack dahil nakasubsob ang victim pero nung dumating na ang SOCO, nakita na may saksak ng ice pick sa braso na tumagos sa dibdib,” the source told Palawan Daily News.
The source also told PDN that they were puzzled with the identity of the suspect and they are looking at the possibility that the criminal has an access to the victim’s house.
“Nagtataka lang kami kasi marami siyang (Encarnacion) aso, so malaki ang posibilidad na kilala sa bahay ang suspek dahil nakapasok ito sa loob ng bakuran,” the source added.
There was no CCTV in the house of the victim nor his neighbors that makes the investigation harder for the police.
“Naghahanap pa sila ng posibleng lead at lahat ay i-imbestigahan para matukoy ang may kinalaman at motibo nito,” said the source.
Meanwhile, the official report from PNP – SOCO will be out after five working days starting today.
Encarnacion was a former contestant of DYPR’s Big Show that gave him the opportunity to showcase his singing talent.
He is also a singer-composer of rock genre and his last album entitled “Dr. Lab” was released last February 19, 2018, which is a compilation of his own compositions that touches on love, friendship and patriotism.
