Panibagong resolusyon para sa extension ng permit renewal ng traysikel, inihain

Nagpasa ng panibagong resolusyon ang Sangguniang Panlunsod para palawigin ang renewal ng mayor’s permit at pagbabayad ng supervision fee sa prangkisa ng traysikel sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa.

Ito ay matapos ang isang privilege speech na ginawa ni City Councilor Rolando Amurao na siya ring Chairman ng Committee on Transportation sa regular na sesyon ng City Council ngayong araw, April 22.

Ayon kay Amurao, napansin niya na nasa dalawampong araw lamang ang magugugol kung ang ekstensyon ay mula lamang April 15 hanggang May 15 ,2019 na siyang nakasaad sa naunang inaprubahang resolusyon.

Nasa walo raw kasi ang araw ng Sabado at Linggo habang regular holiday naman ang April 18 at April 19 dahil sa Semana Santa.

Noong una ay nais lamang amyendahan ni Amurao ang naunang resolusyon subalit ipinaliwanag ni City Councilor Nesario Awat na ito ay naaprubahan na ni Mayor Lucilo Bayron at magiging madali ang proseso kung magpapasa na lang ng bagong resolusyon.

Dahil dito nagpanukala ng bagong resolusyon si Amurao na agad namang inaprubahan ng City Council kung saan nakasaad dito na ang renewal ng mayor’s permit at pagbabayad ng supervision fee sa prangkisa ng traysikel ay simula April 15 hanggang May 31, 2019 na.

Batay sa record ng City Tricycle Franchising and Regulatory Board o CTFRB nasa mahigit 1,600 na mga tricyle operators ang hindi pa nakapagrenew ng kanilang Mayors permit at hindi nakapagbayad ng supervision fee.

Magiging epektibo ang bagong resolusyon kapag napirmahan na ni City Mayor Lucilo Bayron.
