The officers of the Federation of Senior Citizens Associations of Puerto Princesa (FSCAP) and New Public Market Vendors’ Association took their oath of office during the Puerto Princesa City Hall flag ceremony led by the City Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron on Monday, May 20, 2019.
FSCAP is now headed by their newly elected president Lorenzo Carbonell and vice president Rafael Badang. The other officers are: Genedina Magnaye, Flor Dangan, Ruby Alcañeses, Agnes Villalon, Rodolfo Valones, Roger Franco, Adela Pacaldo, Romia Labrador, Alonzo Nagales, Deogracias Salazar, Felipe Ramo, Mercedes Avanceña.
New Public Market officers, meanwhile, were: Janet Lacumbo, Edmund Caliguid, Jackieline Villacenan, Claudia Alcantara, Bernadette Dublin, Edwin Sungcan, Nova Damasco, Ester Apgao, Jocelyn Amador, Proceña Delido, Nerisa Omallao, Jhonna Gardoce, Joan Buesa, Cheryl Olgen, Dolores Lomogdang, Mercedes Lucero, Editha Galang and Vilma Magbanua.
During the ceremony, Mayor Bayron also pleaded the city government employees to do their jobs and forget political issues.
“Natapos na rin ang eleksyon at nagdesisyon na ang taongbayan, tatanggapin natin, siyempre kasama kayo na tatanggap sa naging pasya ng ating mamamayan. At ngayong umaga, gusto kong manawagan sa inyong lahat na iwan na natin ‘yung pulitikahan, kami nalang ang bahala doon, kayo wala na kayong pakealam sa pulitikahan. Trabaho na tayo, tutulong tayo sa lahat ng kailangan ng lahat ng elected officials ng Puerto Princesa,” the mayor said.
