Roxas, Oriental Mindoro — A 27-year-old high-value target was arrested Sunday, June 17, in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Dangay, Roxas, Oriental Mindoro.
Nadine Mark “Nadnad” Cay, an alleged member of the Castillo Drug Group was cornered by joint elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Oriental Mindoro Provincial Police Office, PNP Maritime Group, NISU, NISG-Southern Luzon and Roxas Municipal Police Station at around 9:00 pm.
Confiscated from Cay, a resident of Sitio Cadena De Amor, Barangay Paclasan, Roxas, were one (1) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 0.01 gram with an estimated market value of Php 500.0; one (1) piece self-sealing transparent plastic sachet containing dried leaves suspected to be marijuana weighing around 1.0 gram with an estimated market value of Php 200.00, one (1) piece genuine Php 500.00 marked bill with serial number Y651178 and one (1) white Cherry Mobile cellular phone along with his Honda XRM 125 motorcycle.
Cases for violation of Section 5 (Sale, Trading, Administration, Dispensation, Delivery, Distribution and Transportation of Dangerous Drugs and/or Controlled Precursors and Essential Chemicals) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) Article II of Republic Act 9165 are being prepared for filing before the prosecutor against the suspect.
