Isang matandang lalaki na kinilalang si Pedro Taliman, tubong Princess Urduja, Narra, Palawan, ang kasalukuyang na-stranded sa Barangay Mabini, Surigao City.
Sa kawalan ng pamasahe at hindi marunong gumamit ng cellphone, umaasa siyang maririnig ang kanyang panawagan pauwi.

“Ako po si Pedro Taliman, taga-Palawan,” ayon sa kanyang pahayag na isinulat sa isang Facebook post.
“May mga anak po ako sa Palawan kaso hindi ko na ma-contact dahil hindi ko po alam gumamit ng cellphone.”

Ipinost ni Morales Pablo Colta ang panawagan ni Pedro, kalakip ang ilang larawan kung saan makikita si Pedro na marungis, payat, at pinapakain sa isang madilim na silid na tila pansamantalang tuluyan lamang habang siya ay walang matuluyan sa lungsod.

“Matagal na po akong nasa malayo, at hirap na pong makauwi sa aming tahanan dahil sa kakulangan sa pamasahe at kahirapan sa kalagayan ko ngayon,” dagdag pa ni Pedro.
“Wala po akong ibang inaasahan kundi ang tulong at malasakit ng kapwa.”

Ayon sa mga kaanak ni Pedro sa Palawan, hindi ito ang unang pagkakataon na na-stranded siya. Minsan na raw siyang naglakbay papuntang Maynila para ayusin ang isang titulo ng lupa, at nakabalik din sa Narra makalipas ang naturang biyahe. Ngunit matapos magkaroon ng problema sa panibagong may-ari ng lupa, muli siyang umalis at ngayon ay napag-alamang nasa Surigao na.

Wala siyang pera, telepono, o kahit anong dokumentong makatutulong sa kanyang makauwi. Ang tanging meron siya ngayon ay ang panalangin na may makakabasa ng kanyang panawagan at may malasakit na mag-aabot ng tulong.
