Fashion and specialty retail brands also start to accept customers at limited store capacity. For gadgets, tech, and accessory needs, 13 stores at SM’s Cyberzone are also open.

Twenty-one other stores are expected to re-open also on May 4, 2020.

Hoping for everyone’s cooperation and compliance, the mall implements strict safety measures on sanitation, disinfection, physical distancing, and limited entry of people in stores.

Aside from a “No Mask, No Entry” policy, there shall be a mandatory non-contact temperature check at mall entrances. All individuals, mallgoers and employees, who have a temperature of 37.3 degrees Celsius shall not be allowed in the mall.

SM City Puerto Princesa operates at 26 degrees Celsius and discontinues its Free WiFi offer to discourage customers from lingering in the mall.

All stores that reopened were required to have a thorough general cleaning, compliant to standard health and safety measures before they were allowed to reopen by the SM management.
