221 Senior Citizens at 60 PWDs sa Dumaran, nakatanggap ng pension mula sa probinsya

Nabiyayaan ng pensyon ang nasa tinatayang 221 na indigent senior citizens at 60 Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) sa bayan ng Dumaran nitong nakalipas na Abril 18-20, mula sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan.

221 na senior citizens ang tumanggap ng tulong pinansiyal na may kabuuang P141,000 habang 60 naman ang naitalang PWDs ang nakatanggap ng pera na tinatayang P360,000.

Sa kabuuan ay umabot nf P501,000 na tulong pinansyal ang naipamahagi ng mga mangagawa at representante mula sa opisina ng Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO).

Ayon sa press release mula sa Palawan Provincial Information Office (PIO), magpapatuloy ang layunin ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan na matulongan ang mga kapatid mula sa indigenous people group ng probinsya partikular na ang mga Palawenong senior citizens at PWDs.

Ang nasabing tulong programa ay mula sa Local Social Pension Program for Indigent Senior Citizens and Indigent Persons with Disabilities ng PSWDO katuwang ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan.

Layunin din ng naturang programa na maibsan ang suliraning pinansyal ng mga kapatid na katutubo, kabilang na rito ang pangtustos sa pang araw-araw na gamot at iba pang mga pangangailangan.
