Four recent graduates of the Palawan government’s scholarship program passed the Pharmacy Licensure Examination earlier this month, bringing distinction to their hometowns and the entire province.

These scholars, who have undergone rigorous training and education, have proven that perseverance, dedication, and hard work can lead to success.
The new registered pharmacists are Ma. Cristina Angelica O. Tan Paredes from Narra, Clarissa Z. Roña, Christine Jade A. Bacani and Alyssa Gail D. Ablaña who are all from Puerto Princesa.

One of the most challenging and tightly controlled exams in the nation is the Pharmacy Licensure Examination. It examines a range of subjects, including pharmacology, pharmaceutics, pharmacy practice, and pharmaceutical calculations, to assess the knowledge and abilities of aspiring pharmacists.

On their way to receiving their pharmacy licenses, they overcame numerous difficulties and barriers. The four new pharmacists have demonstrated that anyone can achieve their objectives and dreams with the correct assistance and resources through the SPS Alay sa Kabataan- Programang Pang-Edukasyon para sa Palaweo (PPP).

Their story serves as a testament to the value of education and the necessity of public funding for higher education.
It is also a source of inspiration for the youth of Palawan, as it shows that with the right mindset, dedication, and support, anyone can achieve their dreams and aspirations.

The SPS Alay sa Kabataan- Programang Pang-Edukasyon para sa Palaweño (PPP) goal is to persuade more students to pursue professions in medicine by offering financial aid to aspiring physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and other medical professionals.

This is expected to aid in enhancing the standard of healthcare services in Palawan.
