In celebration of Valentine’s Day, 56 employees of the Palawan Provincial Government have chosen to donate blood to help increase the blood bank reserve in the province.
The Mass Blood Donation was organized by Alpha Phi Omega Capitol Alumni Association (APO CAPITOL) Petitioning, Red Cross Palawan and the Palawan Government on Tuesday, February 14 at the VJR Hall of the Palawan Provincial Capitol.
According to Palawan Provincial Information Office (PIO), the recent blood donation activity is in its second year already.
The PIO added that the activity serves as an aid for patients who are in need of blood in certain hospitals in the city of Puerto Princesa and hospital patients in the towns of Palawan.
