The Municipal Government of Coron announced that it will reopen its doors to tourists on November 15, 2021.
According to the announcement posted by the Emergency Operations Center (EOC), the LGU is finalizing its guidelines based on the Resolution No. 146-A s. 2021 for the new mandate of the island province under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) classification until November 30, 2021.
The Coron EOC together with Coron Mayor Marjo Reyes are planning steps in opening its tourism industry anew.
Coron LGU recognizes this as a vital step to help its economy but strict implementation and observation is needed to ensure everyones’ safety.
Meanwhile, new protocols for fully vaccinated APORs, Returning Residents, and ROFs are being organized and will be released on November 15, 2021.
