COVID-19 vaccination sa bayan ng San Vicente, kasado na

Nagsagawa noong Miyerkules, Marso 17, 2021, ng simulation ang Municipal Health Office sa San Vicente Central School. Ito ay bilang paghahanda para sa pagbabakuna ng mga medical front liners na sisimulan ngayon araw Marso 19, 2021.

Ayon sa Provincial Immunization Officer na si Meyrick Garces, umaasa ito na magiging matagumpay ang pagsasagawa ng pagbabakuna sa munisipyo.

“Alam ko naman pong prepared naman po ang ating mga health staff at ating mga mga facility for any adverse events na possible [mangyari].”

Para naman kay Municipal Local Government Operations Officer Rustico Dangue, mahalaga umano ang pagsasagawa ng simulation upang matukoy ang mga kakulangan para sa pagpapabuti ng gawain.

“Overall, ang atin pong simulation ay naging successful naman. Unang-una nakita natin ang mga rooms for improvement. Very vital po iyan kasi pag wala pong assessment na katulad nito, ay we will not grow.”

Samantala, ngayon araw ng Biyernes, Marso 19, 2021, ay nakatakdang bakunahan ang nasa mahigit 60 healthcare frontliners sa bayan. Target naman na mabakunahan ang nasa mahigit 230 healthcare frontliners sa mga susunod na linggo na kinabibilangan ng mga personnel mula sa Ligtas COVID facility, mga empleyado ng Rural Health Unit (RHU), Barangay Health Emergency and Response Teams at Barangay Health Workers.

Matatandaan na noong Marso 25, 2021 ay nakatanggap ang munisipyo ng San Vicente, Palawan, ng mahigit 500 doses ng AstraZeneca vaccine mula sa Provincial Government of Palawan (PGP).
