Pito na ang kumpirmadong tinamaan ng Coronavirus disease 2019 o COVID-19 sa bayan ng Cuyo matapos itong madagdagan ng apat ngayong araw, July 11.

Ayon kay Mayor Mark Delos Reyes, pawang mga Locally Stranded Individuals o LSIs din ang apat na umuwi sa kanilang bayan noong June 24.

Puro anya babae ang mga ito na nag-eedad ng 57 anyos, 9 anyos, 50 anyos at isang 27 anyos na kasalukuyang naka-isolate sa kanilang quarantine facility.

“Pauwi na sana sila dahil tapos na ang kanilang quarantine period and negative naman sila noong una sa RDT pero before namin i-release, nag-undergo muna sila uli ng Rapid Diagnostic Test and nag-positive sila kaya we recommended for swab testing and nag-positive din,” ani Mayor Delos Reyes.

“20 lahat sila actually kasama ‘yong naunang nanay at sila ang nag-positive. ‘Yong iba napauwi na namin at sila lang ang naiwan pati ‘yong mga kasama nila sa kwarto doon sa sinakyan nilang barko na ipapa-swab test din namin para malaman ang resulta,” dagdag pa nito.

Sa kasalukuyan, wala naman anyang sintomas ang lahat ng COVID-19 positive sa kanilang bayan na mahigpit nilang mino-monitor at inaasahang gumaling sa lalong madaling panahon.
