PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PALAWAN — A government employee of the Province of Palawan was arrested after a successful buy-bust operation, July 20, at around 7:30 in the evening.
The suspect is Jonathan Sanchez Palanca, aka “Tantoy”, is a 40 y.o. government employee, currently working in the Assessor’s Office of the Province of Palawan.
Personnel of the City Drug Enforcement Unit of Puerto Princesa CPO conducted anti-illegal drugs (buy-bust) operation which resulted in the arrest of the said suspect.
Palanca is a high-value target and has been monitored by the authorities prior to his arrest.
Confiscated from the suspect were one piece heat sealed plastic sachet containing suspected “shabu”, Php12,000 bills ( 11,800 boodle money and 200 genuine money) bills used as buy-bust money and one unit Samsung cellphone color black. The arrested person and the confiscated items are now under the custody of CDEU-PPCPO for proper disposition.
