LGUs sa probinsya, pinaghahanda sa pag-uwi ng strandees

Pinaghahanda na ng Provincial Health Office ang mga lokal na pamahalaan sa lalawigan ng Palawan ang kanilang quarantine facility para sa mga uuwing Palaweño na inabutan ng lockdown sa labas ng probinsya sanhi ng coronavirus disease 2019 o COVID-19.

Ayon kay Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Mary Ann Navarro, kailangan itong mapaghandaan dahil matapos dumating sa paliparan ang mga pauwing stranded passengers mula sa ibang probinsya ay idi-diretso agad sila sa kani-kanilang mga munispyo at dapat na sumailalim sa 14-day quarantine period sa mga itinalagang quarantine facility alinsunod sa kautusan ni Governor jose Ch. Alvarez.

Paliwanag ng opisyal, kailangan na sa quarantine facility idiretso ang mga pauwing Palaweño upang matutukan ng mga health authorities ang kanilang kalusugan kesa payagang makauwi kaagad sa kani-kanilang mga tahanan lalo pa’t ang iba sa mga ito ay mula sa mga lugar na may kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19.

“Ang ideal po, facility quarantine talaga kasi pano niyo mababantayan sa bahay, doon po sila makikihalo talaga sila doon sa mga siyempre sa mga mahal nila sa buhay,” ani Dr. Navarro sa inilabas na press release ng Provincial Information Office.

Dagdag pa ni Navarro na isa ito sa mga hakbang na ginagawa ng pamahalaang panlalawigan upang matiyak na walang sinuman ang makakapasok sa probinsya na carrier ng nakamamatay na virus at mapangalagaan ang bawat isang Palaweño.
