NEA: Posteng nakaharang sa mga highway, hanggang Dec. 31 na lang

Binigyan ng hanggang December 2019 ng National Electrification Administration (NEA) ang mga electric cooperative sa bansa kasama na ang Palawan Electric Cooperative (Paleco) na ilipat ang mga poste ng kuryente na nakaharang sa mga kalsada.

Ito ang sinabi ni Artis Nikki Tortola, NEA Deputy Administrator ng Technical Services Sector, sa Palawan Daily News nitong November 13.

“For obstructing facility ang deadline ‘nun up December 31,2019. ‘Yung nakaharang na talaga sa highway, ‘yung affected facility ay i-schedule pa yun.”

Ayon pa kay Tortola, sinabi sa kaniya ni Lalas na karamihan sa mga poste ng Paleco na ililipat ay affected facility kaya maaaring iiskedyul ang paglilipat nito.

Bago ito ay sinabi ni Lalas sa 4th quarter press conference na ipinatawag ng Paleco na aabutin ng P300 milyon ang gagastusin dahil magtatayo sila ng bagong linya. Magdudulot raw kasi ng malawakang brownout kung ang mga nakatayong poste mismo ang kanilang ililipat kaya hindi ito kakayanin ng pondo ng Kooperatiba.

Ipinaliwanag naman ni Tortola na babayaran ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang mga kooperatiba base sa kanilang ipinasang plano na isusumite sa DPWH Regional office.

“Ang process kasi bale isa-submit sa Regional offices ng DPWH yung plano upon certification ng NEA na tama ang prizing ni Paleco and then magi-schedule ng payment tapos pipirma ng kontrata si DPWH at ang electric cooperative,” dagdag pa niya.

Aniya, sa inisyal nilang pag-uusap ng DPWH nais nito na ang mga kooperatiba muna ang gumastos para sa mga obstructed facility subalit hindi raw ito kaya ng mga kooperatiba kaya kailangan pang hintayin ang perang ibabayad ng ahensiya.

Tiwala naman si Tortola na kakayanin ng Paleco na umabot sa deadline dahil base umano sa Paleco ay may mga poste na silang nailipat at pangilanngilan lang naman ang mga ito.

Ang obstructing facility ay ang mga posteng ng kuryente na nakatayo sa nakongkretong kalsada habang ang affected facility ay ang mga poste ng kuryente na-survey ng DPWH na maaapektuhan ng kanilang road widening.
