Pagbebenta ng nakaboteng gasolina sa mga tindahan, mahigpit na ipinagbabawal

Pinalalahanan ng Bureau of Fire Protection ang nagtitinda ng nakaboteng gasolina na binabawalan ito ng batas at maari silang mamultahan o makulong.

Nagkaroon ng inspection ang pamunuan ng Brooke’s Point Fire Station sa pangunguna ni SFO4 Armando P Abela, OIC Municipal Fire Marshal, kasama ang mga tauhan nito sa mga tindahan na nagbebenta ng gasolina.

Mahigpit na pinaalalahan ang mga tindera sa posibleng maging dulot nito,  maaring magbenta kung aprobado ng Department of Energy.

Ayon kasi sa DOE, maaring maapektuhan ang kalusugan at magdulot ng sunog sa kalikasan, apektado rin ang mga legal na nagbebenta ng petroleum kung saan sila ay may kaukulang permit mula sa gobyerno. Maituturing na smuggling, pilferage, o theft ang pagbebenta ng gasolina sa mga bote.

Samantala maaring mapatawan ng multa sa halagang P50,000.00 pataas at pagkakulong ang hindi tatalima o susunod batay sa Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 9514 o “2008 Fire Code of the Philippines” at maari rin managot sa Department of Energy.
