The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) recorded a total of 42,949 registrations for Election 2022 in Palawan including Puerto Princesa City as of September 1, 2020 until June 30, 2021.
Based on Provincial COMELEC data, 11,603 of the registrants are from Puerto Princesa and 31,346 are registered in municipalities.
The data also showed that a total of 21,848 are newly registered, 11,473 are Transfer of Registration recorded from other cities or municipalities and 4,386 are Transfer of Registration within the same city or municipalities. Meanwhile, 3,675 are reactivation of registration and 1,567 for Change of Name or Correction.
The Offices of the Election Officer (OEO) are open Mondays-Fridays, 8:00am-5:00 except Sundays and Saturdays, and also open during holidays to receive applications for registration. Saturdays are intended for voter satellite registration only.
