“As of 2 o’clock yesterday afternoon, after consulting with the Western Command, the province as well as the armed forces and PNP have decided to lower the alert status of the province. We were now at a not in the heightened alert status based on the information that the persons of interest that we were monitoring last week that were allegedly going to Palawan have been spotted in the different area of operations (Simula 2:00 pm kahapon, matapos ang konsultasyon sa Western Command, ang probinsya, armed forces at PNP ay nakapag-desisyon na ibaba ang alert status ng Palawan.

“The security of Palawan is a community effort, it is not merely the responsibility of the armed forces or the national police or the provincial government, it is a responsibility of everybody in the community’ (Ang seguridad ng Palawan ay nangangailangan ng sama-samang pagkilos ng komunidad.

(OCJ/PIA-MIMAROPA/Palawan)
