The Special Operation Platoon Training Class 10-24 formally began at the Headquarters of MBLT-7, Camp Daypo, Brgy. Abo-Abo, Sofronio Española, Palawan. The opening ceremony on October 27, 2024, was led by Marine Lt. Col. Joffrey D. Signio, Commanding Officer of the Marine Battalion Landing Team 7 (MBLT-7).
Marine Col. Wilfredo B. Manalang Jr., Deputy Brigade Commander of the 3rd Marine Brigade, served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker at the event.
In his speech, he emphasized the importance of thorough preparation, discipline, and dedication among each Marine in their duty. He highlighted the role of this type of training in strengthening the capabilities of our soldiers to ensure peace and security in the country, especially in facing future complex challenges.
Following his message, the traditional “reception rites” were conducted to warmly welcome the trainees and officially mark the start of their training. Under a rigorous program, their skills and readiness will be further enhanced to serve the nation with utmost excellence.
The training is expected to inspire each trainee with strength, courage, and unwavering dedication as they prepare themselves to fulfill their duties for the peace and security of the Philippines.
