Three teens killed in Brooke’s Point collision

Three teenagers were killed in a motorcycle collision in Barangay Samariña, Brooke’s Point, Palawan, Tuesday night.

Palawan Police Provincial Office identified the victims as John Kevin Nuevacobeta, 19, driver of Honda Wave motorcycle and back rider Aaron Torres Roncesvalles, 20, both residents of Barangay Ipilan of the said municipality, and Jayson Ave, 20, driver of Motorstar 125, a resident of the barangay where the accident happened.

Initial investigation by Brooke’s Point Municipal Police station showed that both motorcycles were traveling from opposite directions and upon reaching the dark area of the national highway, the two collided around 9:30 P.M.

Responders to the accident brought the victims to the hospital but Ave was declared dead on arrival by the doctors while Roncesvalles died hours later and after a day, Nuevacobeta also passed away after suffering severe head injuries.
