Alkalde sa Romblon at 200 indibiduwal, arestado dahil sa sabong

Arestado ang 200 indibiduwal kasama ang mayor na si Jovencio Li Mayor Jr. ng bayan ng Ferrol, Romblon sa ginawang pagsalakay ng mga operatiba ng Criminal Investigation Detection Group-Romblon Provincial Field Unit (lead unit), Ferrol Municipal Police Station at Romblon Provincial Mobile Force Company batay sa pinaigting na Operation Plan (OPLAN) Bolilyo”.

Ayon sa ulat ng Ferrol MPS, February 6, 2022 10: 20 A.M. nang makatanggap ng tawag ang awtoridad na mayroong nagaganap na sabong kaya agad nagsagawa ng operasyon ang mga awtoridad sa Tubigon Square Garden (Cockpit Arena) sa Barangay Tubigon.

Ang Romblon Province nasa Alert Level 3 kaya bawal na bawal ang anumang okasyon.

May this serve as a stern warning for other elected officials and illegal gamblers that MIMAROPA police will enforce the law without fear and favor,” ayon kay Police Brigadier General SIDNEY SULTAN HERNIA, Regional Director of Police Regional Office MIMAROPA.
