Engr. Petronilo Roche, Officer In-Charge of Maritime Industry Authority (Marina)- Palawan, shared that the mobile registration in far-flung areas in Palawan is being pushed through because their target is to achieve zero colorum operators as well as they want to get the crew trained and the licensed to enhance maritime safety.

So ang nangyayari kami mismo sa MARINA ang pumupunta sa mga areas para mag conduct ng modified safety and basic training na ina-allow para sa mga vessel na 35 GT (Gross Tonnage) above,” Roche said in the Kapehan by the Philippine Information Agency where he was invited as June is the Sea Transportation Month.
