PRO MIMAROPA, nag-donate ng mahigit P-1M para sa mga apektado ng oil spill sa Pola, Oriental Mindoro

Nakalikom ng P1,250,624 ang Police Regional Office ng MIMAROPA mula sa mga kapulisan sa buong rehiyin kabilang na ang Puerto Princesa City Police Office, at Palawan Police Provincial Office para idonate sa mga apektadong residente ng oil spill sa Pola, Oriental Mindoro.

Layon nito ay pangunahing matulong ang mga pamilyang naapektuhan ang hanap buhay dahil sa insidente.

Pormal na naipagkaloob sa mga opisyales ng Pola, Oriental Mindoro ang cash donation.

Ang nasabing aktibidad ay pinangunahan ni PRO MIMAROPA Regional Director Police Brigadier General Joel Bargamento Doria, sa New Municipal Building, Barangay Bayanan, bayan ng Pola.

Apektado sa oil spill ang 11 na mga barangay, 4,839 pamilya o 24,195 na mga indibiwal at 7 marine protected areas.

“Nais kong pasalamatan ang buong puwersa ng kapulisan dito sa MIMAROPA na nagpaabot ng kanilang tulong pinansyal upang maisakatuparan ang ating layunin na matulungan ang ating mga kababayan na labis na naapektuhan ng oil spill dito sa lalawigan ng Oriental Mindoro higit lalo ang bayan ng Pola,” ani Villegas.
