The LGU announced the situation in Brgy. Bogtong and Conception, where all “close contacts” are from Brgy. Salvacion with the highest recorded cases of COVID-19.

“Ang mga close at secondary contacts ay na-trace na at naka-quarantine,” LGU said on their social media.

The Municipal Task Force (MTF) will submit the list of close and secondary contacts in the said barangays for monitoring.

Meanwhile, no close contacts have been identified from outside the families of those who tested positive from Maglalambay. Barangays, on the other hand, are advised to limit the movement of people until the contact tracing is completed.

Currently, the town of Busuanga has recorded a total of 266 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
