Mga nanalong opisyales sa Palawan, nanumpa na

Pormal nang nanumpa sa tungkulin ang mga nanalong opisyales ng pamahalaang panlalawigan ng Palawan, gayundin ang mga nanalong kandidato mula sa 23 munisipyo, mga manunungkulan sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa at ang tatlong kinatawan sa kongreso mula sa tatlong distrito ng lalawigan. Ang mass oath taking ay ginanap kahapon, Hunyo 30, 2019 sa Citystate Asturias Hotel, Puerto Princesa City.

Pinangunahan ni Judge Enrique Selda ng MTCC Branch 3 ang panunumpa ng mga opisyales mula sa Agutaya, Araceli, Busuanga, Cagayancillo, Coron, Culion, at Cuyo; si Judge Rohima Sarra ng MTCC Branch 2 naman ang Officiating Judge sa mga Municipal Officials mula sa Dumaran, El Nido, Kalayaan, Linapacan, Magsaysay, Roxas, San Vicente at Taytay; at si Judge Arlene Guillen ng RTC Branch 13 ang tumayong Officiating Judge sa Aborlan, Balabac, Bataraza, Brooke’s Point, Narra, Quezon, Rizal at Sofronio Española.

Si Judge Rowena Socrates ng MTCC Branch 1 ang Officiating Judge sa panunumpa ng mga nanalong Sangguniang Panlalawigan Members mula sa Unang Distrito na kinabibilangan nina Board Member David Francis Ponce de Leon, BM Leoncio Ola, BM Juan Antonio Alvarez, BM Cherry Pie Acosta at BM Maria Angela Sabando, habang sa Ikalawang Distrito naman ay binubuo nina BM Sharon Abiog-Onda, BM Eduardo Modesto Rodriguez, BM Cesareo Benedito Jr at BM Ryan Maminta; at sa Ikatlong Distrito ay si BM Albert Rama.

Si Judge Jocelyn Dilig ng Regional Trial Court Branch 47 ang Officiating Judge sa panunumpa ng mga nanalo sa tatlong congressional posts na kinabibilangan nina 1st District Congressman Franz Josef Alvarez, 2nd District Congresswoman Cyrille Abueg-Zaldivar at 3rd District Congressman Gil Acosta Jr.

Nanumpa rin sina Vice Governor Victorino Dennis Socrates at Governor Jose Chaves Alvarez sa pangunguna ni Officiating Judge Angelo Arizala, Executive Judge ng Regional Trial Court Branch 52.

Matapos ang bawat panunumpa ay binigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga nanalong Kongresista, Bise Gobernor at Gobernador para sa kanilang inaugural addresses, na naglalaman ng kani-kanilang mga programa at proyekto para sa ikauunlad ng Palawan.

“Uulitin ko ang aming battle cry mula pa noong 2010 na di kami nagwagi at nitong 2013 na tayo ay nagwagi, ang aming battle cry sa Partidong Pagbabago ng Palawan ‘wala kaming ginawa kundi ang mapabuti ang kalagayan ng mga Palaweño’, ‘yan po ang ating inuna noong tayo ay nanungkulan. Noong nanungkulan kami nina Vice Governor (Socrates), noong nanungkulan yung mga Board Members at Congressmen, 68% ang poverty index noong 2013, -1% ang ekonomiya ng Palawan at pagkalipas ng tatlong taon, umangat po yan, nakikita, napupuna at nadadama ng bawat mamamayan na paakyat tay And finally in 2016 from -1% naging 6.2% po ang ekonomiya ng Palawan… Hindi yan dahil sa akin, tulung-tulong tayong gumawa nyan…,” bahagi ng Inaugural Address ni Governor Alvarez.
