Kenneth Tabla of Palawan State University expressed his vivid gratitude on Mocha’s resignation which he said that it is good thing that Mocha has finally realized her incapability to perform her position.

“I am very happy that she finally realized that she is not fit to hold a very high post in the government. Our call for her to resign is yet another victory. Her appoinment in the government is an apparent insult to those who are highly qualified individuals other than her,” Tabla said

He also said that even though Mocha has resigned, she can still spread fake news even she resigns from her position.
“Fake news, however, is still an issue because she can still spread the same even if she’s out of her office already,” he added.

Tabla also said that another battle is yet to come on Uson’s run for senate but said that empowering voters and wise decision could solve it all.

“Another battle is yet to come, as she already express her intention to run for the Senate. But I believe that we can also prevent that from happening by being wise voters,” Tabla said.

As per Board Member Toto Pineda’s personal opinion, it is better for Uson to resign for she has been one of the channels that causes divisiveness and argument amongst Filipinos due to her unreliable infos spread all over social media.

“Maybe she is the channel or a source for divisiveness among filipinos instead na ma-unite, ewan kung tama term ko, gawa ng kanyang unreliable infos sa social media better nga to resign,” the board member expressed.

However, for a resident of El Nido named Jodd who chose not to disclose his full name said that the resignation is a good thing for Mocha’s part for her to live freely.

“Para sa akin mas makakakilos na siya ng maluwag kung hindi na siya sa gobyerno nagtatrabaho,” he said.

While Elmer Zita, spokesperson of Luis Marcaida, said that the resignation is Uson’s personal matter.

“Its a personal thing,” Zita shortly said.

While City Information Officer Richard Ligad said that it is given that Mocha is an avid supporter of the president and he resigned to express her vehement support without any restriction from the government.

“Kanya kanya naman tayong paniniwala eh. Naniniwala ako na si Asec. Mocha ay masugid na tagapag-suporta ni Pangulong Duterte. Good thing na rin para sa kanya na nag resign siya kasi tulad nga ng sabi niya na at least walang variation o boundaries na hindi makakapag suporta sa ating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte, walang bawal,” said Ligad.

He also said that Palaweños and Puerto Princesans will not be starving if Mocha resigns and that the whole city should not be affected by this issue.

“Ang importante, hindi tayo nagugutuman sa pag resign ni Mocha… hindi tayo affected ang mga tao dyan sa Puerto Princesa,” said Ligad.
