Pest Science Corporation, in partnership with JCI Puerto Princesa Oil, started a series of fumigation operations of school rooms and facilities to eradicate mosquitoes that cause dengue and malaria infections.
On June 1, San Pedro Elementary School received, and on June 8 at Malanap Elementary School, Punang in Sofronio Espanola will receive free fumigation services of its classrooms and facilities as part of Brigada Eskwela 2019, which aims to prevent malaria and dengue cases under its program with a tagline, “Dengue at Malaria ating Sugpuin Kaligtasan ng Magaaral, ating Siguruhin.”
Bernie Barbas, Branch Manager of Pest Science Corporation, initiated the project with a strong message of concern about rising cases of dengue and malaria in Palawan.
The fumigation activity was and will be facilitated by staff of Pest Science Corporation and members of JCI Oil.
