Before this, they competed in the Salzburg International Choral Celebration and Competition by the same organizer last June 19 to 23.

They won gold awards for the Musica Sacra and Folkloric categories and a silver award for the Mixed category over 18 other groups from different countries who participated. They were also nominated for the Grand Prix for the first time.

The team is composed of 20 students, conductor Demi Dizon, assistant conductor and pianist Eireka Meregillano, and documenter, Kaesel Wia Sebido.

Aside from competing, the choir is also doing a concert tour, performing in the cities of Kiel, Hamburg, and Dortmund, Germany and in Salzburg and Vienna, Austria.

Since its foundation in 2012 by Dizon and Dr. Daisy Grace Antonio, PSU Singers had participated and won various awards in international competitions.

In 2015, they placed first in the Mixed Choirs category at the Festival de Música de Cantonigròs in Catalonia, Spain and had their first European tour.

They took home gold for the Sacred, silver for Folklore and bronze for Mixed Choirs category at Limburgh, Germany in 2017.
