From March 28 up to March 30, no additional COVID-19 positive case has been reported by the CHD MIMAROPA-Regional Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (REPU).
Based on the COVID-19 trackers released by the Department, last Saturday, the number of positive cases rose to six and on Sunday, March 29, another two cases were reported, bringing the total number to eight, and up until Monday.
With one death recorded in Occidental Mindoro, the other cases are the three cases from the province of Marinduque, another one positive case in Occidental Mindoro, and one case each for Palawan, Romblon and Oriental Mindoro.
For Persons Under Investigation, for the whole MIMAROPA, DOH’s data indicates that from a total 647 being investigated, around 215 PUIs were recovered from sickness, six died while the 426 PUIs, the investigation is still ongoing.
In the said 426 remaining PUIs, 23 are now admitted in hospitals while the remaining 403 are home quarantined.
And in Palawan, there are a total of 121 individuals being investigated. Around 43 of them recovered, two died, while the remaining 76 PUIs, the three of them are admitted in hospitals and the 73 are home quarantined.
For Persons Under Monitoring (PUM), around 40,510 were monitored of which, the 35,083 were completely monitored while the monitoring for 5,427 individuals is ongoing.
From the said figure, around 2,559 PUMs are totally monitored in the province of Palawan and the 2,328 of them were completely monitored while for the 231, the monitoring is ongoing.
Meanwhile, there are 18 PUIs in the whole region who are waiting for their laboratory test result, including the four persons in the Province of Palawan.
