Palawan secures the 8th spot in the Top 50 Most beautiful places in the world released by travelling site Big 7 Travel posted last November 1. The site’s ranking of places are based on the readers suggestions and most liked photos and pins from the site’s Instagram and Pinterest accounts.

The said listing is presented as the incredible places varying from culturally rich ancient’s sites, and magnificent and wonderful places to put in everyone’s list. Boracay is also included in the list on the 18th spot.

“This immaculate string of islands is seen as some of the best in the world and it’s pretty obvious why. Palawan is a fantastic triple threat of diverse wildlife, pristine landscapes, and subterranean marvels. Because of its stretch across the Sulu and South China seas, it boasts a huge variety of nature from steep limestone cliffs to jawdropping coves and unbelievable beaches,” Author Melanie Hamilton said.

Topping the list is Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. Palawan is always in the recommended list of the said site, earlier this year they put Palawan in Rank 2 in the 50 Hottest Travel Destination for 2020, and #36 in the 50 most instagrammable places in the world.
