Palawan Island kept its spot in the list of “Top 25 Islands in the World” bagging the 19th spot with a score of 88.63% based on the survey conducted by renowned international travel magazine “Travel+Leisure.”
The province was also included in the list of “Top 5 Islands in Asia”, where it took 5th place.
“Travel+Leisure” holds its World’s Best Awards survey every year. The magazine asks tourists to weigh in on travel experiences around the globe and to share their opinions on the top cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more.
“Readers rated islands according to their activities and sights, natural attractions and beaches, food, friendliness, and overall value,” the magazine explained.
India’s Andaman Island was named as Asia’s Best Island and World’s Best Island is Milos, Greece.
