In commemoration of the 123rd anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service, a series of diverse programs and activities have been organized by the Provincial Government in Magasasagawan, Magsasagawa, as part of this year’s theme “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant-Heroes.”

Led by the Provincial Human Resource Management Office (PHRMO) under the leadership of PHRMO Officer-In-Charge Rolando B. Buñi, these events are aimed at engaging all employees of the province.

Furthermore, a variety of tournaments have been prepared for the employees, such as Basketball for men and women, Volleyball for women, Badminton for men and women (doubles & mixed doubles), and Table Tennis for men and women (doubles & mixed doubles).

There will also be Board Games, traditional “Palarong Pinoy” sports, and a Dance Competition.

The official start of the PGP Civil Service Month celebrations for all employees of the capitol will commence on September 11, 2023, beginning with a holy mass followed by a parade, and concluding on September 29.

In solidarity with the nationwide launch of the Civil Service Month, the capitol’s employees will also participate in an “Online Zumba and Film Showing” event to be held at the PGP Convention on September 01. This event will mark the official start of the Civil Service Month nationwide, led by the CSC Field Office-Palawan.
