RTNMC wins Fire Brigade Competition during 69th ANMSEC

The Rio Tuba Nickel Mining Corp. – RTNMC fire brigade troops recently emerged victorious in the Fire Brigade Competition held during the 69th Annual National Mine Safety and Environment Conference (ANMSEC) in Baguio City on November 17.

During the competition, the fire brigade troops showcased their skills and techniques as they eagerly responded to a simulated fire scenario. Their cohesive efforts and quick response time proved to be key factors in their victory.

Jeffrey Barade of RTN also won the championship title for the Fire Extinguishment Competition. His impeccable skills and expertise allowed him to secure the top spot among other participants.

As an essential part of RTNMC’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its employees and the surrounding community, the fire brigade undergoes rigorous training and constant practice to stay at the top of their game.

By adhering to strict safety protocols and conducting regular drills and inspections, the fire brigade plays a significant role in mitigating potential disasters and creating a secure work environment.
