Yamang Bukid Farm Palawan now venture into a resort, their latest acquisition is the newly open Yamang Dagat Resort in Brgy. Antipuluan in the town of Narra, that offers swimming pool, beach and overnight stay thru glamping experience.
Formally opened last December 8, Yamang Dagat Resort have the following amenities, swimming pool, black sand beach, a restaurant and 8 glamping cottages to which 4 have private comfort rooms while the rest share common toilets.
Resort Manager Analyn Articulo said that the resort employs 10 staff that will see and run the daily operations mostly locals of Narra. Their restaurant will carry the menu popularized by Yamang Bukid in Puerto Princesa such as grilled bangus, and their best sellers Turmeric Chicken and Liempo.
“Bale ito po ay La Vista resort dati, naabutan siya ni Yamang Bukid yung area na parang abandonado, parang wala ng naka put up na mga buildings, binihisan na lang siya uli ni Yamang Bukid farm at ginawa siyang Yamang Dagat Resort,” Articulo said.
For its opening salvo, the resort is offering local guest with the following rates, for the use of pool a fee of P79 per person is charged from 9AM to 9PM daily, and P99 for the weekend, please take note that the swimming pool have a schedule of two time slots for its usage, it’s from 9AM to 2PM and 4PM to 9 PM, a break of two hours is set in order to clean and disinfect the pool in its daily operations. They also have a special package of P199 with consumable food and drinks daily.
For overnight stay with their glamping cottage, the introductory rate is P1,099 per person with breakfast and the cottage can accommodate up to 4 pax, extra person is P500 with breakfast included, while the those glamping cottage with own Comfort room is P1,199 per person with breakfast meals too.
“Free access sa beach walang entrance, and future plan natin sa Yamang Dagat resort is mga recreational activities natin, we plan to put Frisbee activity, badminton, beach volleyball, darts natin mga board games,” Articulo said.
Aside from the resort, Yamang Bukid will soon open a restaurant in Brgy. Malinao, the concept is a farm to table provided with their usual flower and vegetable plantation as attraction, it is scheduled to open this coming Dec 20.
Yamang Bukid founder Rene Maduro said they hired 21 employees in total for the resort and the soon to open restaurant, but he reiterates that even before they begun their business operation in Narra, they already started their advocacy of helping farmers, and It is through their scholarship program for the sons and daughters of farmers.
“Ang ginawa natin para ma-motivate kami to work harder, for us to succeed gumawa kami ng inspiration bago kami nag umpisa sa business dito, maski wala pa kaming business dito kumuha kami ng 15 na matatalinong bata na nag-aaral ng kolehiyo, they are all childrens of farmers, ginawa namin silang scholars, every week tumatanggap sila ng allowance, maliit naman mga P100 a day,” Maduro said.
