Baguio City took home the championship crown for the second time at the recently concluded Batang Pinoy 2019 national championships held here in Puerto Princesa City.
Baguio City bagged the most number of medals, winning 61 gold, 45 silver, and 66 bronze medals.
Cebu City followed a distant 2nd, winning 34 gold and silver medals, and 29 bronze medals.
Davao City came at a close 3rd with 31 gold, 24 silver, and 37 bronze medals won.
Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu province snagged 10th place in the medal tally, winning 15 gold, 7 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
Meanwhile, hosts Puerto Princesa City and Palawan province failed to get a spot at the top 10, with Puerto Princesa City ranking 23rd, winning 7 gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze, and Palawan province ranking 24th, winning 7 gold, 4 silver, and 11 bronze medals.
