Cash allowance ng mga senior citizens, PWDs at barangay tanod, naibigay na ng City Government

Naibigay na ng City Government ang aabot sa P69.6 million na cash allowances ng mga senior citizens, person with disabilities (PWDs) at barangay tanod sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa.

Sa regular flag raising ceremony ng City Government kahapon araw ng Lunes, ika-28 ng Nobyembre, sinabi ni Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron na naibigay na ang mga allowances ng mga ito na kasama siya umikot sa tatlong araw.

 

Ayon kay Mayor Bayron, sa Northern ng siyudad ang Barangay Manalo-Langogan 4.4 milyon ang kanilang naipamigay habang P5.5 milyon naman sa Northern sa Barangay Salvacion- New Panggangan, sa Southwest sa Barangay ng Napsan, Bagong Bayan at Simpocan ay P2.6 milyon naman at sa Southeast ng lungsod ay P6 milyon naman.

 

“Noong 24 hangang 26 umikot na kami upang ihatid ang mga allowances ng mga senior citizens, PWDs, Barangay Tanod baka hindi niyo alam napakalaking pondo itong narelease napakalaking tulong sa local economy sa atin,” saad ni Mayor Bayron.

 

Umaabot naman sa P51.1 milyon na may pinakamalaking allowances ang mga residente ng Poblacion ang Irawan, Sta. Lourdes pababa sa bayan.

 

Samantala, nabanggit din ni Mayor Bayron na simula ngayong araw ay ibabalik na ng City Government ang ugnayan sa Barangay matapos mahinto dahil sa Covid -19 at magtatagal hanggang December 10.
