Naka-close contact ng 2 PDLs, negatibo sa RT-PCR test

Negatibo ang resulta ng swab test ng 43 katao na close contacts ng dalawang Persons Deprived of Liberty o PDLs na nagpositibo naman sa COVID-19 dito sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa.

Ayon kay Dr. Dean Palanca, ang City Incident Commander, kabilang dito ang mga pamilya, jail guards, mga pulis at iba pang specimens mula naman sa ilang Locally Stranded Individuals na isinabay na sa pagpapadala sa Ospital ng Palawan upang malaman kung positibo o negatibo sa virus.

“Lahat po ng 43 samples po na ‘yon, lahat po ng resulta po nun ay negative po. Ibig sabihin, wala po kaming ire-report po ngayon na bagong kaso po ng COVID,” ani Dr. Palanca.

Sa isinagawang online advisory ng City Information Department, inihayag din ng health official na mula May 26 kung kalian nagsimula ang pag-uwi ng LSIs, ROFs at APORs sa lungsod, pumalo na sa mahigit dalawang libo ang dumating kung saan pinakamalaki ang bilang ng Locally Stranded Individuals.

Dagdag pa ni Palanca na sa 2,084 passengers na nakabalik na sa lungsod mula huling linggo ng Mayo hanggang sa kasalukuyan, 39 dito ang naging IgM reactive sa isinagawang Rapid Diagnostic Test at pito naman ang nakumpirmang may COVID-19.

Samantala, ang lahat ng LSIs, ROFs at APORs na ito anya at parating pa sa mga susunod na araw ay dinadala sa 12 hotel facilities sa lungsod maliban pa sa isang COVID-19 facility ng Puerto Princesa.

“Nasa 600 po ang nandyan ngayon nagka-quarantie for 2 weeks po sa kanilang mga hotel facilities at unti-unti po ‘yan silang makakabalik din po sa kanilang mga tahanan after 2 weeks po,” dagdag ni Palanca.
