Puerto Princesa City – The personnel of the 3rd Marine Brigade (3MBde) gathered at Marine Base Rodolfo Punzalang in Barangay Tiniguiban this morning, July 10, to honor the recently promoted Brigadier General Antonio Mangoroban Jr. Upon his return to the base, a special ceremony was held to commemorate his promotion to star rank, a recognition he received last June.
Brigadier General Mangoroban assumed command of the 3MBde on February 24, 2023, and his promotion to the prestigious rank of Brigadier General is a testament to his dedication, leadership skills, and outstanding service to the Philippine Marine Corps.
He has played a vital role in leading and guiding the 3MBde, which is responsible for ensuring the security and defense of the area. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials, fellow servicemen, and members of the local community.
