It will showcase 4 bouts among professional MMA fighters back-to-back with bodybuilding competition, and featuring some models as round girls.

The MMA contenders are Vincent Velasque vs Jielourd Alvarez, Jeron Cabasag vs Adonis Sevilleno, Alvin “Kastigo” Ramirez vs John “Kidlat” Madamba, and Louie Sangalang vs Jovan Espinosa.

Fitness Camp owner John Michael Deparita said that another 5 bouts of boxing and Muay Thai for undercard will be the pre-event of the competition.

Some of the fighters who will stand on the ring are Palaweños, but he declined to name them due to some personal requests of these players. Winners for this pre-event games will receive P2,000 cash and P1,000 for consolation.

Local fighters were handpicked and pre-selected by Fitness Camp based on their training background.

The officiating officials, judges, and referees are all provided and will be coming from the Games and Amusements Board.

Deparita said that it’s time for the City to have these kinds of events, and it’s their way of discovering local fighters who can compete in national competitions. Palawan doesn’t have professional MMA fighters ever since.

“’Yan ‘yung objective namin to promote here in Palawan, ‘yung Mixed Martial Arts and para makahanap ng potential fighters na puede ilaban,” Deparita said.

The event is open to the public but admission is P150 for General Admission, P250 for Upper Box and P500 for Lower box. The fight will start at 6 in the evening on December 14.

Fitness Camp is a boxing gym and offers MMA, weight training and Zumba classes. It is located near Junction 1 at the back of National Book Store. It was opened in August of this year.

Beyond the Limits is for the benefit of senior citizens in the City under the “Balik Lakas and Alindog Program” of Fitness Camp.
