Sinisimulan na ang pagtatayo ng karagdagang Police Station sa Puerto Princesa. Sa kasalukuyan, may dalawang PNP Station lamang sa 66 Barangay ng lungsod: ang Police Station 1 at ang Police Station 2. Dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng populasyon, kinakailangan ng tatlong karagdagang Police Station.

Ang mga barangay na sakop ng Police Station 1 ay ang sumusunod: Brgy. Bagong Pag-asa hanggang Brgy. San Pedro, na kabilang sa mga urban na lugar.
Samantala, ang mga barangay na sakop ng Police Station 2 ay ang sumusunod: Brgy. Iwahig, Irawan, Sicsican, Sta. Monica, Tiniguiban, San Manuel, San Jose, Tagburos, Sta. Lourdes, at Brgy. Bacungan. Ang mga barangay na sakop naman ng Police Station 3 ay ang sumusunod: Brgy. Sta. Lucia, Luzviminda, Mangingisda, Inagawan, Inagawan Sub, Kamuning, Montible, Napsan, Bagong Bayan, at Brgy. Simpocan.

Sa kabilang banda, ang mga barangay na sakop ng Police Station 4 ay ang sumusunod: Brgy. Sta Cruz, Salvacion, Bahile, Macarascas, Buenavista, Tagabinet, Cabayugan, Marufinas, at New Panggangan. Ang mga barangay na sakop naman ng Police Station 5 ay ang sumusunod: Brgy. Manalo, Maruyogon, Lucbuan, Maoyon, Babuyan, San Rafael, Tanabag, Concepcion, Binduyan, at Langogan.

Ang layunin ng karagdagang mga police station ay upang masigurong maibigay ang maayos na serbisyo at upang hindi na mahirapan ang mga mamamayan sa paglalakbay, lalo na sa mga malalayong lugar, kapag may mga transaksyon sila sa PNP. Bukod dito, ang mga bagong Police Station ay magiging handa rin sa pagresponde sa mga aksidente at krimen na mangyayari sa kanilang mga nasasakupan.

Sa kasalukuyan, mayroong mga bagong pulis na nakuha mula sa MIMAROPA Region, at sapat ang bilang ng mga pulis sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa.
